How the list is organised

Risk of Rain 2 splits its pickups into two families. Passive items take up inventory slots and stack: picking up a second copy raises that item's effect, and how much it rises depends on the item. Equipment sits in a slot of its own instead of competing with your passives, and is used on a cooldown rather than stacking.

Rarity is not cosmetic — it decides which pool an item can appear from. Chests, shrines and bosses draw from different pools, which is why a red item is worth walking across the stage for and a white one usually is not. The two pools at the top of the table, boss items and lunar items, come from specific sources rather than the ordinary chest rotation.

Players tend to describe these by colour rather than by tier name, so the table below gives both. White items are common, green are uncommon, red are legendary, yellow are boss or planet items, blue are lunar, purple are void items and orange are equipment. When someone asks what a purple item does, they mean a void item, and those come from Survivors of the Void.

This page renders the entire list into the HTML you are reading right now, so it works with JavaScript disabled and every entry is indexable. The filters and the stack planner then layer on top once the page loads.

Filter by rarity or by family, search by name, and mark the stacks you are planning. The planner is a note-taking aid, not a damage model — it counts what you intend to pick up so you can see the shape of a build at a glance.

Which items stack on a curve

Most items add their value straight down the list: a second copy of a dagger bleeds more often than one, and the tenth adds exactly as much as the first did. A small group works the other way. They add to a divisor rather than to the result, so every extra stack is worth less than the one before it and the curve never reaches the ceiling it is climbing toward. That is what the Curve badge in the table above marks.

The split is lopsided. Of the 128 entries whose curve has been classified, 122 add their value directly and only 6 use the diminishing curve. Those few are all probability items, which is why they are the ones a build either leans on or ignores completely.

ItemRarityPer stackWhat the curve means for it
Tougher TimesCommon (White)+15%The canonical hyperbolic item: the first stack is worth far more than the tenth, which is why stacking it looks disappointing on paper and strong in a run.
Stun GrenadeCommon (White)+5%A small per-stack value, so the curve climbs slowly — many stacks are needed before the chance is dependable.
Sentient Meat HookUncommon (Green)+20%Highest per-stack value of the six, so it saturates fastest; the target count also rises linearly with stacks.
TentabaubleVoid (Purple)+5%Rolls the same curve as Stun Grenade, but the duration scales linearly alongside it.
Old GuillotineUncommon (Green)+13%Marked hyperbolic in the source, but it sets a health threshold rather than rolling a chance, so it is listed here and left out of the probability calculator.
Elusive AntlersUncommon (Green)+12%Changes an interval and a movement buff rather than a single roll, so it is listed but not computed.

Coverage: 128 of 220 entries carry a published curve, so the badge being absent means unclassified rather than linear — the numbers above come from 社区 wiki 道具总表的「堆叠曲线」列(结构字段,非描述文本解析). The stacking calculator computes the effective chance for the four of them that roll one.

What this page covers so far

Every entry's name, rarity and family is in place and cross-checked against the tier counts published alongside the source list. What is still being written is the per-item detail: the effect text, the exact stacking behaviour, and the numbers behind each one. Those go up item by item, verified before publication, rather than being generated in bulk.
